Never Ever Ever Linkup

The Vintage Modern Wife: Never Ever Ever Link Up

Long week, lots to do, and a few never-evers that I will really never do again!

Never Ever Ever will I...

{one}
   Buy anything important through a distributor that is not physically were I am. Drama, drama, drama! I have been waiting for 3 months for a rush ordered dress that was supposed to be hanging in my closet 4 weeks ago! Grrr I am so angry! So many emails and phone calls and all I know so far is, "Hopefully I'll have it in my hands by Friday, so you'll have it by Tuesday." I knew I shouldn't have paid extra for the rush. But it could be worse, I am so glad the dress doesn't look like the ones below!

Their faces are blurred for a reason! Yikes!
{two}
   Count my "sports chickens" before they are hatched. It was a really, really good game, but it still stung when the 'Boys lost. I'm pretty sure it is because I didn't wear blue and white. Dang it!

{three}
   Rag on buying in bulk. Me and Hubby went by Sam's and got 2 lbs. of beef for stew for $13. Hubby said it was the best stew he had ever had. (The secret is Guinness and Red Wine!)

{four}
   Be completely organized. I try and every time, and it never works. Ugh. I still have A LOT to do this week and I am freaking out! Tomorrow is mine and Hubby's three year anniversary (I have to sneak-wrap his present tonight while he's at work), we have tons of plans to make for trips and engagement parties and weddings and finally, this weekend we have the Helicopter Ball. I gotta get ready for some formal fun : )

Never Ever Ever

The Vintage Modern Wife: Never Ever Ever Link Up
Time for another Never Ever Ever post. Whoop whoop the week's half over!
Never Ever Ever will I:
  • Be a "clean" person. I tried to keep the house clean while Hubby was gone this time, but I lost that battle real quick. Like two days after he left. Instead of picking up a few things and washing a couple of dishes before he comes home it is going to be a full on tornado of cleaning. Ugh.

  • Stop sewing. Seriously. I know I said that last time, but today I finished the flight suit bag I have been working on and I absolutely l-o-v-e it! It will make a great diaper bag one day :)
    Old patches I found lying around

    lots-o-pockets!
  • Watch the VMAs again unless it is for a reunion of a band from my childhood. If the Spice girls hit the stage again like they did during the London Olympics you know I will be glued to my TV. Without the promise of a flash back, I think I am officially too old for that crap. I mean, awkward boy band dialogue, people winning that I have no idea what their names are and Hannah Montana disturbingly grinding on teddy bears, foam fingers and Robin Thicke. Hopefully one day we can all forget that.
Nope
Yes

I think we all felt the exact same way you did Taylor. Oh yes, I am sure of it.

Never Ever Ever

My first linkup! This one is with a gal whom I used to dance with on our high school drill team; Once a Tigerette, always a Tigerette. Her name is Stephanie and her blog, Vintage Modern Wife , is sensational.

This link up is called "Never Ever Ever" like the Taylor Swift song. Hubby will love that reference. Haha. It is about things you will never do again or never stop doing. So here we go:

Never Ever Ever...
  • Will I stop crafting! I just finished a pretty large sewing project for a friend expecting a baby soon and it was such a blast. It was a glider chair done in her and her husband's college colors for the nursery. It is adorable, if I do say so myself. hehe. I will do a full post on it in a few days!
  • Will I master macaroons. I tried and I failed. Multiple times. Yep, I think I'm done with that French delicacy.
  • Will I skip out on an invitation to a day at the beach. In fact, I think it is time to go again.
  • Will I stop waiting up for the Hubby when he has late nights at work. Tonight he's not getting back until after midnight, but I can't help it. I like telling him goodnight to his face too much to miss it. Man I am damn cheesy sometimes. Blah :)

Until tomorrow...
