This past weekend was one for the books. The Helicopter Ball on Friday night was so much fun. Dinner, drinks, lots of catching up with friends I haven't seen in months and last but no least a shot luge! In the shape of an octopus no less
Yeah, you definitely don't grow up too much in this community...and I like it that way. Saturday was a recovery day not for me but for Hubby. He had a little too much fun at the Ball. I give you exhibit A:
That's him laying in the bed in the room everyone got for the after party. Adorable if I do say so myself :) So as you can clearly see I was the lucky one! After the recovery day, it was Sunday and time for my 'Boys to play the Redskins. And you know what, They Won! I love it when they win, it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. Yay. I was a happy, happy Texas girl.
Sunday, Monday and today were all errand days/shopping days/sleep in because it is nasty outside days. Hubby didn't get Monday off so spent it painting some of my newest orders that I got on Etsy. Here is the newest one I did for a breast cancer awareness fundraiser at Villanova University:
I think it turned out pretty good. It is for the sorority Delta Gamma. The pink, blue, bronze and anchor all have special meanings to the sisters. I hope they like it!
I have a new craft to start once I get back from the post office and I'll give y'all three hints. It's for a baby, it is a Halloween costume and it involves a certain puffy sailor character from Ghostbusters!
Night y'all!
